We were presented with the delightful opportunity to bring to life a brand character for Mandali, an esteemed wellness retreat nestled in the serene landscapes of Italy. Mandali’s vision was to embody the essence of their retreat in a character that not only represents their values but also serves as a congenial guide through the various sections of their tranquil haven.

“Mandalina” is not just a character; she’s a narrative woven into the fabric of the retreat, a magical godmother who embodies love, wisdom, and a deep connection to nature.

Mandalina is a visual storyteller. Her presence on sign boards throughout the retreat is not merely directional but also an integral part of the Mandali experience. She is also present in an interactive game which invites attendees to connect to the present moment and to have more meaningful connections together.

We presented our client with multiple options for the design approach of the Mandalina character. Upon their selection we then developed a series of poses to reflect each of the messages.
